The Western Office of the State Audit Service of Ukraine has officially launched a monitoring procedure for a controversial procurement by Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU), valued at 67.73 million hryvnias. The inspection was triggered by indicators of public procurement law violations identified within the Prozorro system.
The audit (procurement ID: UA-2026-07-29-005543-a) began on September 16, 2026, following an order issued by Roman Krolyak, Head of the Western Office, acting on direct instructions from the agency’s central apparatus. The desk review of the documentation is being handled by a specialized control department led by Nadiia Yarema.
Auditors are focusing specifically on the contract conclusion and execution stages. The contract, worth 66.73 million hryvnias, was previously awarded without competitive bidding to Green Trading LLC. This company has a history of involvement in criminal proceedings and investigations regarding potential financial abuses.
