He is married and has a daughter.
He has relatives in the occupied Crimea, but does not communicate with them. In the media, he states that “Crimea is Ukraine” is his position in life. Judging by his statements, he categorically does not want to be governor, but if the head of state puts pressure on him, he will not go anywhere.
Serhiy Koleboshyn is a supporter of distance learning. He has developed the Teacher+ program for students in remote schools in Ukraine, which provides lessons via the Internet. He believes that education should be accessible to everyone. He has created an online physics course for university entrants, which has already been used by more than 20,000 children from all over Ukraine.

Serhiy Koleboshyn, former deputy head of Odesa Regional State Administration, paid 18 hryvnias for a vote. The representative of the presidential party in the 140th constituency received the largest number of votes among the winners in the region — 36,244. The official’s election fund reached almost 640,000 hryvnias. Only 40,000 of it was the candidate’s own money, the rest was deposits from individuals. The largest expenditure was for outdoor advertising — UAH 421,000. among the media, he used only the services of print media, paying almost UAH 44,000 for them. the candidate’s advertisement could be seen on Facebook, and the party paid more than UAH 60,000 for it.
Scandals, intrigues, investigations
The elections to the Verkhovna Rada are not long away. On July 21, all the cards will be revealed, and we will know the names of the new MPs. As for the 140th constituency, it is not yet known how many people will run for a cozy seat, but the main candidates are already known. The “new face” according to the ZE team is Serhiy Koleboshyn.
Given the candidate’s biography, I want to go to church and light a candle for his health — he is such a bright and pure soul. He’s a family man, his declaration is in order, and he comes from a dynasty of teachers. But behind the screen of this transparency, things are not so simple. As they say, in a quiet swamp…
The first doubts about him arose when a seemingly ordinary teacher, bypassing all competitors, became the deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration of Maksym Stepanov in April 2017. At the time, the correctness of the latter’s decision was justified by the fact that “the man is not from the system” and should be given a chance.
The image of an untainted official was good until it turned out that this person was none other than the protégé (attention!) of Natalia Chegodar, the same lustrated official known for her multimillion-dollar corruption schemes in the Ovidiopol district. After the shameful lustration, access to the trough was denied to her, which meant that they had to look for a “victim” who would not ask questions and would not understand anything at all. This is where Serhiy Koleboshyn came in handy.
At first, he denied any involvement with the criminal official, but under pressure from the facts, he decided to confess that he was indeed Natalia Chegodar’s man. In one of his interviews, he explained it as follows:
— “It has already been said on the Internet that I am Natalia Chegodar’s man. But I would like to clarify. Of course, this person played a big role in my life. At least, I work at the Ovidiopol gymnasium, and she is from the Ovidiopol district and headed it for a long time. In 2009, having built a new modern school building, she invited me to head the school. At the moment, I am a deputy of the Ovidiopol District Council from the Agrarian Party faction headed by Natalia Anatoliivna.

Odesa “Servants of the People” confused candidate lists and constituencies: they tried to steal documents certified by the party conference from the election committee

But that’s not the main thing — after discovering the mistake, the secretary of the commission from the “servants” tried to steal documents certified by party seals and the decision of the conference.
Today, the head of the Odesa regional organization of the Servant of the People party, Serhiy Koleboshyn, tried to hush up the scandal and filed a statement with the commission asking to withdraw the package of documents with the technical error.
Strange address and wrong time: observers could not get to the party conference of Odesa’s “Servants of the People”
The official website of the party and the announcement of the regional territorial election commission stated that the conference to nominate candidates for deputies and mayor would be held on September 15, at 11:00, at 1/3 Kryshtalevyi Lane. Arriving at the place at the specified time, the representatives of “Opora” did not find any participants of the conference and could not get to the event. After some time, the observers managed to find the venue of the conference, which was held at the Portofino entertainment complex on the beach in Arcadia.
At the same time, the event began at 18:00 instead of 11:00.
The head of the Odesa regional branch of the party, Serhiy Koleboshyn, assured Opora that the conference started at 11:00, but a break was announced. He did not comment on the confusion with the addresses.
There is indeed a Kryshtalevy lane in Arcadia, but it is located at a considerable distance from the Portofino complex on the coast.
