People’s Deputy Bohdan Torokhtiy has received a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Maybach as a gift from his wife, Alina Levchenko, at a significantly undervalued price. According to the politician’s asset declaration updated on July 3, 2026, the luxury vehicle’s value is listed at 1.38 million UAH. However, the actual market price for such models in Ukraine ranges from 3.5 million to 5.3 million UAH.
The financial status of the lawmaker’s family raises serious questions, as Alina Levchenko’s official declared annual income is only about 110,000 UAH. Despite this, the MP’s wife consistently acquires expensive assets and luxury transport.
According to investigative journalists and reports from the Cats and Watches project, Levchenko owns several high-end timepieces. The value of one is estimated at 4.5 million UAH, while another is valued at approximately 115,000 EUR.
During the full-scale war, Torokhtiy’s family has managed to cycle through at least three premium vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz G400, a Mercedes-Benz EQS 580, and a Range Rover. All these vehicles were registered under Alina Levchenko. The MP’s wife has previously stated that her official financial standing fully accommodates such purchases.
Notably, this is not the first high-profile corruption scandal involving the lawmaker:

Due to previous corruption scandals and lifestyle discrepancies, Bohdan Torokhtiy was officially expelled from the ruling «Servant of the People» parliamentary faction.
Public attention and anti-corruption agencies are now focused on whether the NACP and NABU will launch a formal probe into potential illicit enrichment, asset declaration fraud, and the actual sources of the family’s income.
