Olena Bondarenko has been engaged in anti-Ukrainian activities during the whole period of her deputy’s term. She actively carried Russian propaganda to the masses, considers Russia a brotherly nation and does not recognize it as an aggressor. She tried to eradicate Ukrainian music by canceling quotas for Ukrainian songs on radio stations, also actively tried to weaken the text of the bill on the prohibition of advertising of alcohol and cigarettes. In an interview for a foreign newspaper she stated that the police on Maidan were not cruel enough to the demonstrators, for which she received a dose of sanctions. She believes that AFU soldiers are killers of Ukrainian children.
