Zelensky’s MP bought up more than 400 plots of land in Kharkiv region
Kharkiv MP Mykola Kyrychenko, a member of the Servant of the People party, filed a report on significant changes in his property status.
According to the report, on January 21, Kirichenko acquired two land plots in the Kharkiv region.
The MP bought a land plot of 55,285 square meters in the Borivskyi district of Kharkiv region for UAH 166.1 thousand from a Ukrainian citizen, Lyudmyla Mykhailivna Ausheva.
The MP bought a land plot of 44,021 square meters in Borivskyi district of Kharkiv region for UAH 132.3 thousand from Olena Pelykh, a citizen of Ukraine.
It should be noted that on September 22, 2020, Kirichenko purchased 13 hectares in Borivskyi district of Kharkiv region for UAH 340 thousand from a citizen of Ukraine Serhii Leliavskyi, and on October 10, 2020, he purchased two land plots of 11 hectares (UAH 227.3 thousand, seller — Halyna Yeremina) and almost 8.5 hectares (UAH 174 thousand, seller — Mykola Hontar). For the most part, the prices in the declaration clearly do not correspond to market prices.
His report for 2019 states that the MP owned 438 land plots of several hundred hectares in the Borivskyi district of Kharkiv region. Most of the land was purchased in 2019. Kyrychenko owns seven farms and one specialized LLC.
Mykola Kyrychenko was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the summer of 2019 on the list of the Servant of the People party.
It should be noted that before 2019, Kyrychenko belonged to the Batkivshchyna party.
“Nepotism”
Kyrychenko claimed to be against «nepotism» in politics. But he made his own brother his assistant. Journalists of «Schemes» addressed Kirichenko with this question.

He was not involved in any high-profile scandals or corruption schemes, but his declaration speaks for itself.
Thus, in the declaration filed by the MP in March 2019, he disclosed his income for the previous year in the amount of UAH 1,800,000. His wife’s total income amounted to UAH 649,000.
Kirichenko owns 418 land plots. All of them are located in the Kharkiv region (in Borivskyi and Izium districts). This is such a huge figure that it cannot but cause a storm of indignation among ordinary citizens. In addition, he owns two apartments registered in the names of his wife and her relatives. One apartment, with a total area of 61 square meters, is located in the village of Borova, Kharkiv region. The other, with an area of 64 square meters, is located in Donetsk region.
But that’s not all. Kyrychenko’s family owns Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Rav 4, VAZ, and agricultural machinery. Mr. Kyrychenko is the ultimate beneficial owner of eight legal entities. The «servant of the people» did not disclose any monetary assets (bank accounts and cash). At the same time, Mr. Kirichenko’s wife has $33,000 in bank accounts.
Summary
Based on the above facts, there are many questions about Kirichenko, which for some reason have not yet been of interest to NABU, SAPO and other anti-corruption agencies. The only incriminating evidence is his absenteeism and ties to Batkivshchyna. But only ordinary citizens noticed the “strange” land prices. Why does the declaration list land on a huge scale for a ridiculous price? There is no such thing as a price of 166 thousand hryvnias for 5 hectares! So why would an honest farmer hide the true value of the land?
