Panchenko Diana Vitalievna
Official biography
Born on May 21, 1988, in Mykolaiv. Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter. Presenter of the NewsOne TV channel (2015-2021). Later she lived in Pavlohrad, Dnipro region. Her parents divorced when Diana was 11 years old.
In 2010, she graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in publishing and editing, and in 2018, she graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in law. In 2010, she worked for a short time as a correspondent for the newspaper Gazeta po-Ukrayinsky. From 2010 to 2015, she worked as a correspondent and presenter at the Kyiv TV channel.
In 2015, she became a presenter at NewsOne TV channel. She hosted the programs “Tema”, “Prostoyanie”, “P’yatyi Kut” and “Svoi”. During the blocking of NewsOne’s activities in December 2017, Panchenko, on behalf of the TV channel, appealed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to protect freedom of speech.
During various broadcasts on NewsOne, Panchenko kicked politicians Valeriy Ivasyuk and Yuriy Bublyk out of the studio. In 2018, during the broadcast of the “Big Evening” program, writer Larysa Nitsoy asked Panchenko to speak Ukrainian instead of Russian. Panchenko said that Nitsoy could not tell her what language to speak, after which the writer left the studio.
She is the winner of the 2019 Person of the Year Award in the Journalist of the Year nomination. In 2020, she was included in the ranking of “The Most Influential Women in Ukraine according to the readers of the Focus website” at No. 7. Yaroslav Zubchenko, a journalist at Detector Media, called Panchenko “the worst media personality of 2020”. In 2021, she was nominated for the UNESCO/Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize for her contribution to press freedom.
In February 2021, after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against Taras Kozak, the owner of NewsOne, ZIK and 112 Ukraine, which led to the cessation of broadcasting of these media outlets, Panchenko and a number of employees of these TV channels moved to the First Independent TV channel. Panchenko is the ultimate beneficial owner of 99% of the shares of Novosti Media Holding LLC, which is responsible for organizing the broadcasting of Pervyi Nezalezhniy.
Compromising material
15 representatives of the media sector were included in the Ukrainian “register of traitors” created by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Chesno movement .
Diana Panchenko is on the list of traitors:

Among them:
Kirill Vyshinsky, former head of RIA Novosti Ukraine,
Igor Guzhva, founder of the online publication Strana,
First Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Strana Svetlana Kryukova,
Strana journalist Olesya Medvedeva,
TV presenter Snizhana Yegorova,
TV presenter and wife of Viktor Medvedchuk Oksana Marchenko,
Diana Panchenko is constantly criticizing the government, just like her fellow propagandists:

Diana Panchenko, a TV presenter of TV channels from Viktor Medvedchuk’s orbit, and others.
“Do ladies not drink vodka?” TV host Diana Panchenko and Miss Ukraine Universe director quarrel over the winner
Anna Filimonova, director of the Miss Ukraine Universe contest, and TV presenter Diana Panchenko argued online over the Miss Ukraine title. According to Filimonova, she did not expect Panchenko to criticize Miss Ukraine Universe 2021 Anna Nepliakh. She wrote about this on Facebook.
Anna Filimonova’s post:

— Dear Diana, this is questionable. You, of all people, should know how frustrating and unpleasant it is to listen to dirty insults from incompetent and short-sighted people. They call you a «dirty political whore» and «Medvedchuk’s doormat», «traitor to the motherland», «an illiterate provincial journalist with a terrible appearance, a second chin, scary eyebrows, piggy eyes and disgusting taste,» Filimonova wrote.
Diana Panchenko responded to Filimonova:

However, neither she nor Nepliakh consider Panchenko to be such a person. Therefore, they were very surprised to hear criticism from “a respected Ukrainian journalist with a striking appearance and amazing taste.” However, Filimonova emphasized that all personal insults will remain on Panchenko’s conscience.
In response to Filimonova’s post, Diana wrote that she was sorry for the “worthy and young girls” who did not win. “A hobo from The Bachelor with a certain reputation for inserting a checkmate through every word won such a contest,” Panchenko wrote about Neplyakh.
— “I talked to the jury members. No one understood what had happened at all. And it’s a shame that we have no chance in Israel. And this is on your conscience,” Diana said.
Even Natella Krapivina, Svitlana Loboda’s ex-producer, intervened in the scandal. According to her, it’s all “slapstick”. “Everyone is a normal person. Escort is not escort, honestly not honestly, is this a Nobel Prize?” she added.
TV presenter Diana Panchenko commented on the incident on UA.Suspilne
A video showing a cleaner of the UA.Suspilne TV channel, not noticing that a live broadcast was going on, started cleaning the studio, is gaining popularity on social media. This incident was commented on by Diana Panchenko, a TV presenter of the illegally closed NEWSONE TV channel, on her Facebook page.
Panchenko never missed an opportunity to throw mud at the president:

As a reminder, the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021” allocated UAH 2 billion 274 million 158 thousand for financial support of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine. Financial support for UA:PBC consists of funds from the general and newly created special funds. UAH 1874,158.0 will be allocated from the general fund for UA:PBC. Of this amount, UAH 1838,414.7 will be allocated for consumption expenditures and UAH 35,743.3 for development expenditures. UAH 400 million is planned from the special fund to support UA:PBC. According to the law, these are development expenditures.
“Betrayal” in Vitebsk. How the “Slavic Bazaar” went
For the past 24 hours, the so-called Ukrainian TV presenter Diana Panchenko has been discussing the fact that she accepted an offer to host the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus, saying that she was “I am honored to open the festival as a presenter together with my colleagues from Russia and Belarus” and emphasizing that art and music should remain out of politics.
In fact, it is not surprising that Diana Panchenko accepted the offer of Putin’s puppet to participate in a propaganda event that is funded mainly by Russian money. After all, she is, in fact, a Ukrainian conditionally. Conditionally, because all these years she worked for the pro-Russian resource NewsOne, and after its closure, she was transferred to the equally pro-Russian repeater of fakes and manipulations, First Independent.

In fact, the media puppet of Viktor Medvedchuk, who is a Russian puppet in Ukraine, is going to the Slavic Bazaar to serve another puppet, and this is not a scandal, it is a regularity. No self-respecting Ukrainian artist would go to this coven. And those who do not respect themselves and are not Ukrainians in essence — no problem.
But this is not even the point.
It is not for nothing that I noted that the Slavic Bazaar is primarily a propaganda event. And given the current problems of Belarus, it is no longer held so much under the patronage of Alexander Lukashenko as Russia, both financially and politically. And media, of course.

In addition, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the scandalous article by the Russian president about a certain “one nation” that caused a wave of criticism was published on the eve of this very event. Not a month earlier, not a month later, but exactly on the eve of the show, which would once again reinforce the narratives set forth in this epistolary throwaway.
The reason is that Diana Panchenko, Taisiya Povaliy, and any other non-Ukrainian who calls himself a Ukrainian are part of a rather global information provocation that Russia has been engaged in throughout its existence, rewriting history and substituting concepts.
Of course, there is a moral side to a concert by a Ukrainian artist. Every time you say that pop, music, cinema, sports or anything else is outside of politics, you first of all make a fool of yourself, because everything has always been, is and will be “in politics,” and secondly you insult the memory of thousands of lives, from all over Ukraine, who gave you the opportunity to freely carry such nonsense.
What the living will ignore, the dead will never forgive.
But it’s quite different when you participate in a large-scale propaganda campaign under such a cover, aimed against the sovereignty of the country in which you live, earn money and parasitize.
In my opinion, the petty hackwork of not only Diana Panchenko, but also many others who hide behind this “out of politics” should not go unnoticed by the relevant authorities. After all, this is not just a hack job, but a full-fledged participation in an action that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty, both in support of the regime hostile to Ukraine and the regime of the occupying country.
Diana Panchenko is sickened by the Ukrainian language
NewsOne host Diana Panchenko has finally recovered from yesterday’s scare and decided to add more “compliments” to Ms. Larysa Nitsoy from her Facebook page. In addition to the “freak” stabbed in the back yesterday, Nitsoy is now also an “evil aunt, a pseudo-patriot,” and “not feminine and asexual,” with “altered hormonal levels.” According to PRportal, Ukrainian political scientist Oleksiy Holobutskiy wrote about this in his blog.

He notes that the media representative’s reaction to the demand to comply with the law is a bit unhealthy. The transition to “fool” and “freak” is already evidence of the lack of arguments, but the bed and breakfast theme usually indicates a much more serious situation. And in general, although this is still, unfortunately, a fairly commonplace picture, it is no less abnormal: when a request to speak the state language is already “Nazism” and a reason for insults and ridicule.
Propagandist Anatoliy Shariy’s praise for Diana Panchenko:
Oleksiy Holobutskiy writes that he personally had to face Panchenko in the studios more than once and twice, so he can say from his own experience: she really has some kind of painful reaction to the Ukrainian language, always reacts very nervously even to a simple conversation, without demanding that she personally “break her jaw.”
Famous Ukrainian writer and fighter for the Ukrainian language Larysa Nitsoy criticized domestic journalists on her Facebook page for presenting the news of her insult by a journalist of the NewsOne TV channel as a scandal provoked by her. Thus, the writer noted that the conflict was started by the TV presenter, while she only asked to follow the letter of the law.
The Ukrainian presenter showed her nipples in a tight blouse. Photo.
NewsOne channel host Diana Panchenko appeared in the center of Kyiv in a spicy outfit, through which the girl’s nipples were visible.

The photo of Diana was shared on her Facebook page by her colleague, journalist Bohdan Karabinesh.
Diana Panchenko: They write that I can support Hitler’s theses
On the air of the main opposition project of Ukraine “Voice of Truth” and on YouTube, an online conversation with the TV presenter of the “First Independent” channel Diana Panchenko took place.
She commented on the Russophobic article by the deputy editor-in-chief of Strana.ua Svetlana Kryukova, who called Victory Day a “victory day” and all those who disagree with her position “putebots.”
Diana herself liked Svetlana’s post, but then began to say that she disagreed with it…. Facebook users called this behavior “opening the pot,” “changing shoes in the air” and “showing your true colors.”

Summary.
Diana Panchenko, like other fellow propagandists, actively criticizes President Zelensky, attends banned events, and actively tries to defend the rights of propaganda channels that are banned in Ukraine.
