Vladimir Saldo is a traitor to the country who surrendered the city of Kherson to the occupants in February 2022. As mayor of Kherson, he actively displayed his pro-Russian stance, robbed land, raided businesses, plundered the treasury, and tried to illegally demolish a historically important site. He was also involved in the kidnapping of journalists, the murder of businessman Igor Pashchenko, and was indirectly involved in the high-profile murder of activist Katya Gandzyuk. He traveled to the Dominican Republic as a detainee.
