Party history.
- The party was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on June 15, 2015.
- The published certificate No. 250 indicates the date of registration as September 25, 2014, and according to the State Registration Service, this certificate was issued under the name of the Patriotic Alliance party. Thus, according to journalists, the old existing party was renamed, which allowed UKROP to participate in the local elections in October 2015.
- In August 2019, rumors surfaced in the Ukrainian media environment that the party’s main sponsor, Ihor Kolomoisky, was going to close the party after the main Kyiv branch of the party was closed. Subsequently, in June 2020, the UKROP party de facto ceased to exist, having partially rebranded and transformed into the For the Future party.
- On September 2, 2015, the party announced plans to run in the local elections on October 25, 2015. The party nominated Borys Filatov as a candidate for mayor of Dnipropetrovs’k and Korban for mayor of the capital of Ukraine.
