According to competent sources, Andriy Vavrysh, together with the former head of the OP Andriy Bohdan, have launched a powerful activity to form their own lobby among Kyiv City Council members, which could result in a deep political crisis at the local level, and Lesia Zaburanna is helping them with this.
As the saying goes, “there is nothing more permanent than temporary.” It was with this slogan that they decided to approach this personnel issue with Bohdan. They are now trying to make every effort to ensure that Zaburanna becomes a full-fledged leader and remains at the helm of the capital’s organization for as long as possible.
For this purpose, according to sources, a pool of PR specialists and technologists has already been formed to shape the MP’s image. After all, Lesia Zaburanna herself is a person with rather unconventional views on image. How to save more than you earn?
In the summer of 2020, Zaburanna and about ten other MPs from the SN (among the signatories was Hanna Bondar, whom the media call Vavrish’s man) sent a request to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko with a proposal to the city authorities to buy out and return a number of plots of land to communal ownership. In particular, between Mykilsko-Slobidska Street and Brovarskyi Avenue in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv.
The signatories proposed to create a landscape park on the plots with cadastral numbers 800000000:66:178:0255, 8000000000:66:178:0256, 8000000000:66:178:0257 with a total area of 6.3 thousand square meters.

However, this initiative looks suspicious. These plots border on the scandalous Sunny Riviera residential complex, the construction of which was approved by Andriy Vavrysh.
Experts assume that Vavrysh’s lobby in the Verkhovna Rada wants to return the plots on the banks of the Dnipro to Kyiv’s ownership so that they can be «successfully» re-voted at Kyiv City Council meetings and transferred to the odious developer, and of course, the legend of the landscape park was created only as a smokescreen for eco-activists and others who care about the capital.
At the same time, Zaburanna demonstrates an almost ascetic lifestyle aimed only at accumulating money. There are only 2 electronic declarations. In particular, in her declaration for 2019, Lesia indicates a 2011 SUBARU FORESTER car, which she purchased in 2017:

During the year, she earned more than 556 thousand hryvnias from her research and teaching work. At the same time, she kept 25 thousand dollars and 202 thousand hryvnias in cash.
Lesya does not indicate the income of her husband Arsen Abrahamyan, citing the fact that he refuses to provide information. Perhaps, there is indeed no harmony between the couple, because last year she accused her husband of violence and theft of 18 thousand dollars.
In her 2020 declaration, the Servant of the People MP did not purchase anything new. However, she managed to earn 604 thousand hryvnias by combining her work as an MP with her research and teaching activities, which is why she missed 40% of the meetings. At the same time, her cash savings increased to 38 thousand dollars and 455 thousand hryvnias. Lesia also has a bank account with 61.5 thousand hryvnias in it. It turns out that Zaburanna saved 665 thousand hryvnias over the year, almost 65 thousand more than she earned.
Schemes with apartments
Zaburanna was caught in an apartment scam in Kyiv. As journalist Svitlana Danylova wrote, MP Lesia Zaburanna from the Servants’ party seeks to either make money or outsmart her fellow party members to move up the party career ladder.
In June 2020, a tragedy struck Pozniaky. An explosion in a residential apartment building killed 5 people and left forty apartments homeless. Then President Zelensky ordered to compensate for the losses at the expense of the country and allocated housing corresponding to the lost size. In 9 days, he handed the keys to representatives of 12 affected families, and then other residents received keys as well.

But was everything as smooth as they tried to make it seem? In fact, the situation was not a fountain. Of course, formally, the MP praised her president, but in real life, she was actively engaged in self-promotion. And the subsequent scandals went much deeper.
According to FROM-UA.COM, one of the residents of the affected building turned to Kateryna Sterenberg, the chairman of the board of the Ukrainian International Business Association, for help. She complained that instead of a three-room apartment, her family was given a two-room apartment, although the warrant listed it as a three-room apartment, meaning that the kitchen was considered a room. In addition, the ownership title was issued to the wrong family member. In general, the layouts are clear. In an attempt to understand the situation, Kateryna turned to the person responsible for this issue, namely Lesia Zaburanna, for clarification. Only then did she hear excuses: «I’m not me, and the house is not mine,» saying that the developers are to blame and, in general, referring to other «servants.» Comments are unnecessary, aren’t they?
According to journalist Svitlana Danilova, in the 2019 elections in the 216th district, Lesia was «pushed» by the entrepreneurial Yevhen Tomin, who has been building approaches to residential buildings in the capital for many years. And Zaburanna herself, when she became an MP, began to actively help him in this. And this is despite the fact that she is the curator of Bohdan-Vavrysh’s corrupt deputy group, which, oddly enough, consists of «servants» themselves. A convenient position, no doubt.
