The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has uncovered false information totaling 8 million UAH in the asset declaration of Svitlana Lutkovska, Vice-Rector of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University (VNAU). While the official attributed her vehicle purchase to dubious loans from low-income individuals, her 18-year-old son and 69-year-old mother acquired luxury real estate and vehicles worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The official’s son, Nazar Lutkovskyi, became the owner of a green BMW M8 (2021) valued at approximately $100,000 at the age of 18, frequently flexing the sports car on social media. Despite this, the vehicle was omitted from his mother’s official financial disclosure for that period.
After reaching adulthood, Nazar ceased to appear in the vice-rector’s filings. Over the next two years, he acquired assets totaling over $400,000:
BMW M8 (~$100,000) and BMW X5 (~$50,000) automobiles;
Ducati Streetfighter V4 S (2024) motorcycle (~$28,000);
A 100 m² apartment in Kyiv’s «Zlatoustivskyi» residential complex with a parking space (~$250,000);
Six land plots across the Vinnytsia region.
During an audit of Lutkovska’s 2023 declaration, the NACP discovered she failed to disclose a 107 m² apartment under construction in Vinnytsia and a Haval H6 crossover. The vice-rector justified the car purchase through 13 personal loan agreements of 100,000–130,000 UAH each. However, the investigation revealed that some of these «lenders» had officially earned only around 117,000 UAH over the past 24 years.

Lutkovska attributed substantial cash deposits in her bank accounts to an inheritance from her deceased father. Nevertheless, his official lifetime income was similarly insufficient to account for such sums.
«Sources link Svitlana Lutkovska’s career advancement at VNAU to the team of university head Hryhorii Kaletnik. In 2019, while serving as the university library director, she also coordinated Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s regional team in the Vinnytsia region.»
Alongside her grandson, the vice-rector’s 69-year-old mother, Mariia Poliak, experienced a sudden rise in wealth. In late 2023, a new Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class valued at €60,000 was registered under her name, along with a sole proprietorship and the LLC «Vsesvit-Agro.» Law enforcement agencies are currently reviewing the origin of the family’s assets.
