The most prominent representative of this cohort of “civil society merchants” is Rovshan Surkhay Oglu Tagiyev, who calls himself the chairman of the Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine, co-chairman of the Assembly of the World Diaspora in the United States, and chairman of the Ukrainian Assembly of Nations.

And for those who perceive such attempts with irony, Rovshan Tagiyev usually threatens to use his personal connections, discredit him in the media and create problems from the criminal authorities.
