Serhiy Vyazmikin, former First Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine’s Department of Economic Protection, who previously drew the attention of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) after being spotted at an elite French resort alongside wealthy political figures, is at the center of a journalistic investigation. Despite modest official earnings during his police career, Vyazmikin’s close relatives have acquired luxury real estate, premium vehicles, and offshore assets worth millions in recent years.

According to investigative findings, the systematic accumulation of family wealth began during Vyazmikin’s service in law enforcement. While on the force, the official declared modest income and a vehicle registered to his father. However, his wife, Oksana, already held stakes in agricultural and offshore companies alongside substantial foreign currency cash savings.
The most rapid acquisition of assets occurred in 2020 as Vyazmikin prepared to step down from the police force. Within just a few months, his wife became the registered owner of multiple high-end properties:
Commercial spaces: Three non-residential units in Kyiv’s «Nash Budynok» residential complex.
Suburban estates: Luxury properties in the elite «Chaika» community and Mostyshche village (Kyiv region) with associated land plots.
Premium apartments: Two units and parking spaces in the luxury «The Garden» residential club in Kyiv, as well as an apartment in Zhytomyr.
While official property registries do not disclose the identities of the donors, records show that Oksana’s family holds deep ties to influential agricultural enterprises in the Zhytomyr region. Shortly after her husband’s resignation, she declared millions of UAH in dividends and a luxury Mercedes-Benz GLS 500 SUV.
«First Ukrainian Agricultural Company (recently renamed ‘Tredzerno’), owned by the family, featured prominently in SBI reports regarding tax schemes. According to law enforcement, the entity served as a family asset to launder shadow profits and fund a lavish lifestyle abroad.»
The accumulation of family capital extended to elderly relatives as well. In May 2025, the former official’s 70-year-old father registered as an individual entrepreneur (FOP) offering car rental services, shortly after which two new premium 2023 Mercedes-Benz models were registered under his name.
To obscure his direct involvement in business operations, Vyazmikin utilized legal restructuring tactics. He officially stepped down as the beneficiary of the «Fart Capital» investment fund, transferring formal control to his mother-in-law. This arrangement allows the former police official to effectively control multi-million capital funds without his name appearing on official corporate registries.
Vyazmikin’s financial dealings and his connections to high-profile figures remain under close public and law enforcement scrutiny.
