Ihor Besedin, Head of a Directorate at Lviv Customs, has submitted his annual asset and income declaration for 2025. According to the document published in the Unified State Register on March 20, 2026, the official’s family owns multiple properties across Ukraine, recently acquired two land plots near the capital, updated their garage with a premium vehicle, and holds substantial cash reserves in foreign currency.

The majority of the customs officer’s personal real estate was acquired over 15 years ago. His direct sole ownership includes three apartments:
Kharkiv: An apartment spanning 72.3 sq. m, registered in early 2007.
Kherson: Two apartments measuring 57.1 sq. m and 71.9 sq. m, acquired in July and November 2008, respectively.
The declared values for these three properties were left unspecified. Additionally, since August 2008, Besedin has held a 25% stake in a 1,000 sq. m land parcel in Kherson, with the remaining 75% divided equally among three other co-owners: Felix Radetskyi, Halyna Shevchenko, and Volodymyr Kolodyazhnyi.
Due to his official posting in Western Ukraine, the family resides in rented accommodation in Lviv. Since August 2023, Ihor Besedin and his wife, Zlata Besedina, have occupied a 51.6 sq. m apartment owned by Volodymyr Huryn. The lease agreement is officially held by his wife.
The family’s asset portfolio expanded notably throughout 2025, driven primarily by transactions completed by his spouse, who works for the Administrative Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In late January 2025, Zlata Besedina acquired two land plots in Protsiv, a village in the Boryspil district of Kyiv Oblast known for its proximity to the Dnipro River:
First plot: 1,503 sq. m, valued at 30.8 thousand UAH.
Second plot: 500 sq. m, purchased for 267 thousand UAH.
The family’s vehicles also underwent a noticeable refresh. For over 18 years, the official drove a modest 2006 Nissan Almera, owned since spring 2007 (value unstated). However, in June 2025, the household added an executive business-class sedan to its garage: a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E 200. The car was registered under his wife’s name at a declared purchase price of 1.2 million UAH.
For the full year of 2025, the couple reported a combined official income exceeding 1.3 million UAH, with both spouses making nearly equal financial contributions:
