Mariana was at the forefront of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Mariana Bezuhla worked in the medical field at the Ministry of Defense Reforms Project Office, she managed the program “Reform of the Armed Forces Medical Support System”. The program created a Coordination Center under the Cabinet of Ministers, which included medical services of the security forces and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The work was carried out in six areas to create a single medical space.
In 2019, Bezuhla held the position of Senior Inspector for Control over the Execution of Orders of the Department of Civilian Experts of the Center for Support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the 2019 parliamentary elections, Mariana Bezuhla became a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Servant of the People party in the constituency #217, Obolon district of Kyiv. Bezuhla received 38.4% or 29,560 votes, beating the candidate from the European Solidarity party of Petro Poroshenko, Lyudmyla Kostenko, who has been in politics for a long time and was an assistant to Vadym Stolar, a member of the Opposition Platform — For Life party.

On December 12, 2019, Mariana joined the Humane Country inter-factional association, which was registered by Yulia Ovchynnikova, MP from the Servant of the People, and Kira Rudnyk, head of the Voice party, to fight for the rights and protection of animals from cruelty.
In June 2020, Mariana Bezuhla signed a resolution to dismiss Arsen Avakov from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs.
Compromising material

Due to her work in the project office of the Ministry of Defense reforms, Mariana Bezuhla is well acquainted with the current Minister of Defense Andriy Zahorodniuk (former head of the project office of the Ministry of Defense reforms).
The election campaign in the 217th district was not without scandals.
First, Kyiv City Council member Kostiantyn Bohatov wrote on his Facebook page that the white tents of the Servant of the People in Obolon were being set up right on green areas, and in response to comments, the campaigners were behaving aggressively and refusing to move.
On July 2, 2019, Bezuhla failed to answer any questions about the activities of the political force in a social media argument with lawyer Oleksiy Shevchuk.

On July 10, 2019, Strana.ua noted that most of the candidates from the Servant of the People were not ready to communicate with the media in principle, and mostly reacted to journalists’ calls with fright or unwillingness to comment at all. Some candidates were afraid to answer questions from Strana on their own, and redirected journalists to their assistants and press secretaries in a circle. Mariana Bezuhlaya was mentioned as a good example.
Bribery of voters
On July 4 and 5, 2019, Ze-team campaigners gave away free T-shirts and caps with party symbols in exchange for subscribing to the Facebook communities of the Servant of the People candidates in the 217th and 221st constituencies, Mariana Bezuhlaya and Anna Purtova.

There are rumors that Mariana Bezuhla’s team gave money for votes and paid campaigners. The 217th district complained about the candidate and criminal proceedings were opened. Mariana herself assures that she is not involved in bribery and turned the blame on her opponent Lyudmyla Kostenko. Also, her campaigners in tents stood right on Obolon green areas, and responded to comments aggressively and refused to move.

On July 16, 2019, Pryamyi TV channel aired a story about the creation of a so-called «grid» to bribe votes in constituency #217 in the interests of the Servant of the People candidate Mariana Bezuhla. The news was quickly spread by many media and social networks. On July 18, 2019, Bezuhla, together with lawyer Kyrylo Fesyk (managing partner of Mitrax attorneys at law, who also helped Oleksandr Yurchenko, a candidate from the Servant of the People in the 211th constituency, fight against Volodymyr Prokopiv’s «network»), held a press conference at which she appealed to law enforcement officers with a statement about the functioning of her rival Lyudmyla Kostenko’s «network» and described its operation in detail. Bezuhla accused the Pryamyi TV channel and the European Solidarity youth wing of organizing a provocation against her.

During the press conference, Bezuhla’s lawyer confirmed that her campaigners were using campaign materials and campaigners, but did not consider it bribery.
On July 19, 2019, the website of the Union of Bloggers of Ukraine directly accused Poroshenko’s headquarters of provocations against Bezuhla in the 217th constituency in the interests of Lyudmyla Kostenko.
On July 20, 2019, abnormal behavior of users actively campaigning for the Servant of the People candidate Mariana Bezuhla, leaving comments with the same text, was detected on Facebook.
Into politics without experience
Mariana Bezuhla is criticized for her lack of experience in politics. Also, there is little information about Mariana, as far as we know, she has never worked anywhere except in the medical field. Bezuhla suddenly appeared on June 25, 2019, after the presentation of majoritarian candidates from the Servant of the People party, a campaign began on Facebook, and Mariana began attending district events.

Confusion in the Servant of the People: Who is Mariana Bezuhla and what does Crimea have to do with it?
During the forum “Ukraine 30. Payment” forum, MP from the president’s party, Mariana Bezuhla, made a strange, incoherent speech about tariffs in Ukraine that would help return Crimea.

“Within the framework of our committee and energy security, it was said that in addition to electricity and how difficult it is to find a balance between imports and prices for the population, but nevertheless we need to move towards our own capacities, there is also the issue of joining the European space. Again, this issue is being worked out, and the goal is to ensure that within the energy sector as such, that is, energy issues, there is a logistics component, and various categories… From the point of view of national security, these things are more general, and it is extremely important that we achieve this in the coming years. And to bring it not only into the economic sphere, but also to preserve the political narrative, or rather, the political range that is acceptable,” Bezuhla said.
“Reform of the medical support system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”
Previously, Bezuhla worked on the implementation of the program “Reform of the Medical Support System of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. As part of the project, a Coordination Center was created at the Cabinet of Ministers, which included medical services of the security forces and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The work was carried out in six areas and the goal was to create a single medical space.
There were complaints about the approach to the formation of the center: first of all, because it ignored the experience of many well-known doctors who had been through the fighting in the East. In particular, the well-known volunteer medical volunteer battalions Hospitallers and ASAP were not involved. The newly created Ministry of Veterans is also not very satisfied with the results of the project office, as the initially stated goal has not been achieved.
Nothing is known about Mariana Bezuhla’s work in any other areas other than healthcare. Nor about her activities in the Obolon district. After the presentation of the Kyiv team of majoritarian candidates at a press conference on June 25, Mariana Bezuhla started actively: her videos began to appear on Facebook one by one, and she began to actively attend district-level events.
On December 7, 2020, she was added to the list of Ukrainian individuals against whom the Russian government imposed sanctions.
Blogger: Mariana Bezuhla secretly records Yermak for dirt
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Intelligence and member of the Permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mariana Bezuhla is an example of an inadequate parliamentarian who should be subjected to a compulsory medical examination in the “election law” and in the parliament. Blogger Anastasia Azarova wrote about this on her Facebook page, reports From-UA.
Azarova says that Mariana Bezuhla is a very interesting character in the Servant of the People party, which got into parliament through bribery of voters and the strong lobby of the Soros Club.
The blogger reports that Severiuga, as Bezuhla is called by parliamentarians, got into politics on a wave of volunteering, and no one knows about her achievements.
“She has never been on the front line, she was pushed to volunteer by her parents. They were rich and influential people who tried to do something to engage their special daughter. Mariana is autistic, and such people need a special approach. Her parents even tried to arrange her personal life.
They hoped that she would at least get in touch with some soldier and find happiness. Mariana is 35 years old and has never been married. She is a virgin, and she is proud of it, trumpeting it at every turn. What’s behind it?” she says. Answering her own question, Anastasia Azarova writes with confidence that Mariana is a lesbian.
“She doesn’t hide it and is openly trying to get Iryna Vereshchuk involved. Apparently, she hopes to make a good personal life with a successful woman. He is constantly chasing after the candidate for mayor of Kyiv like a dog, looking into her mouth and waiting for a bone to be thrown. He hopes in his heart for a long life of love and joy. But Vereshchuk is no pushover, and she pursues her own goals with our heroine. She drags her into the AlatRa sect, of which she is an active member. And of course, we only want her to be happy with a man or a woman, but her hatred of children prevents us from doing so. Mariana hates children. She has never wanted them and never wants them, she ridicules parents with many children, and, without hiding it, you can often hear her talking like this in the parliament with her colleagues,” the blogger emphasizes.
In addition, she draws attention to the fact that the MP records all of Yermak’s conversations and is not even afraid to tell her colleagues about it.
“She runs to Yermak under the guise of a member of the Law Enforcement Committee, while recording all conversations with the head of the Presidential Office on a button camera that transmits the recording directly to her phone, and saves them for better times. She collects these recordings for further political blackmail. And it is strange that no one reacts to this. She tells her close associates in the parliament about her compromising materials,” the blogger writes.
Azarova points out that such behavior does not indicate Bezuhla’s mental health, which makes her doubt the adequacy of other parliamentarians.
“It is precisely because of such an example as her that we need to introduce compulsory medical examinations in the ‘law on elections’ and in the parliament. Until there is a certificate and confirmation from a specialized doctor, they should not be allowed to use the green button and even more so to live broadcasts. Although it’s not surprising why Mariana is a frequent guest on TV channels. She is funny, and journalists love such characters. In general, it’s time to introduce medical control, otherwise it’s a disaster. These are the kinds of laws that are passed, and the future of our country, our children, and the world depends on them,” the blogger summarizes.
“The height of stupidity, vulgarity and lunacy.” “Servant of the People” Buzhansky criticizes his faction colleague Bezuglyaya
Last week, MP from the Servant of the People party Mariana Bezuhla attended a training session at Parkovy TV station, where a technologist tried to teach her how to speak on air.
This was stated by her faction colleague Maksym Buzhansky on his Telegram channel.
It should be noted that a dispute arose between the two MPs on social media, in which they were trying to find out which of them was an “agent of external influence.”
Thus, on April 19, Bezuhla posted on her Facebook page a fragment of the political talk show “People Against” on the Ukraine 24 TV channel. During the program, Buzhansky, who co-hosted the show, called his colleague “a laughingstock on all the airwaves”. The MP disagreed with what Bezuhla called “a direct agent of hostile influence” of the guest, publicist Igor Lesev, who asked Bezuhla how the United States and NATO would help in the event of a large-scale war between Russia and Ukraine.
“Mariana, if he is an agent of hostile influence, you, as a member of the Intelligence Committee, should immediately make a statement or stop talking nonsense and shame your colleagues in the faction… You have already become a laughingstock on all the airwaves… You are the agent of influence,” Buzhansky was indignant.

In his response to Telegraph, Buzhansky said that he also never mentioned Bezuglyaya by name in his posts so as not to attack his faction colleague.
“So, dear Mariana, it was you who lowered the meaning of the term ‘national security’ to a level where it is not perceived at all. It was you who, without any experience, knowledge, or even an ounce of self-criticism, began to destroy the SBU under the guise of reform, during the war… It was you who raised Poroshenko’s theses about enemies, agents of influence, the fifth column, etc. to a level to which Poroshenko himself was ashamed to raise them, realizing that this is the height of absurdity, stupidity, vulgarity and madness,” Buzhansky said.
He also compared Bezugla to the commissar in a leather jacket from Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Heart of a Dog”.
In addition, he said that last week the deputy attended a training session at Parkovy TV channel to learn how to speak during broadcasts.
“You were the one who was trained at the training in Parkovy a week ago, the technologist tried to teach you what to say on the air, not me, I said the same thing four years ago, and I have not moved away from my beliefs, promises and principles even a millimeter,” Buzhansky said.

Scandals in live broadcasts
During live broadcasts, Bezugla managed to get into scandals with Yevgeny Muraev, Elena Bondarenko, Svetlana Skorokhod, Alexander Lazarev, and Mikhail Dobkin. All these scandals have one thing in common: Mariana does not understand what she is talking about and what is happening, but she tries to argue.
Income and property
Until 2019, Mariana Bezuhla was not a subject of electronic declaration.
Declaration of property, income, expenses and financial liabilities for 2018.
In her 2018 declaration, Mariana Bezuhla indicated the right to use two of her father’s Kyiv apartments: 179 square meters (purchased in 1996) and 75.1 square meters (purchased in 2013).

She has a salary of UAH 39.4 thousand at her main job and income from entrepreneurial activities in the amount of UAH 522.7 thousand. Bezuhla keeps $12 thousand in cash.
According to the YouControl analytical system, Mariana Bezuhla was registered in Kyiv in July 2017 as an individual entrepreneur, with a profile in consulting on commercial and management issues.
Bezuhla’s report on the use of the election fund is not available on the NACP website.
The interim report of candidate Mariana Bezuhla to the Central Election Commission (CEC) as of July 10, 2019, shows that the size of her election fund amounted to UAH 1 million 391 thousand 500, of which UAH 50 thousand UAH 50 thousand was the contribution of the candidate herself, and UAH 1 million 341 thousand 500 was voluntary contributions of seven individuals who contributed exactly UAH 149 thousand each (Oleksandr Fesik contributed twice, Kyrylo Fesik — twice and Nina Luhovska — UAH 149 thousand 500).
Citizens voluntarily contributed the same amounts to the funds of Artem Dubnov, MP from the 213th constituency (Troyeshchyna) (Kyrylo Fesyk made three contributions of exactly 149 thousand hryvnias each) and Maksym Perebyinis, MP from the 212th constituency (Darnytsia). And the MP from the 96th constituency (Bucha, Slavutych, Borodyansky, Vyshhorod, Ivankiv, Polissya districts) Olha Vasylevska-Smahliuk replenished her fund by 148 thousand hryvnias.
MP Bezuhla received an apartment valued at $7 thousand as a gift.
In December, a member of the Servant of the People faction, Mariana Bezuhla, received a gift from her relative in the form of a 73-square-meter apartment in Kyiv. At the time of the transaction, the value of the apartment was estimated at 164.5 thousand hryvnias, which is approximately $7 thousand.
The price is clearly non-market, as at the time of its purchase in 2013, the official price of the apartment was UAH 638.3 thousand.

Summary
Based on the above information, many questions arise to Mariana Bezuhla. How did she get into the Verkhovna Rada without understanding anything about politics, and why, with so many embarrassing situations, is she still there? Also, the price of Mariana Bezuhla’s apartment raises questions, because it is ridiculous… How can a 73-square-meter apartment in Kyiv cost 164 thousand UAH? And most importantly, why reduce the cost of the apartment?
