Gennadiy Leonidovich Trukhanov is the mayor of Odesa. But there is nothing good to say about him. His criminal past stretches back to the 90s, when he was a member of a criminal gang that profited from the Port of Odesa and later moved to Europe. The Italian police have evidence that Trukhanov was part of the gang. And after Gennadiy Leonidovich became mayor, his theft skills came in handy. In a very famous scheme, he laundered money on the purchase of the Krayan plant by overpricing it. But that’s not all. Trukhanov has been involved in at least 10 NABU investigations into illicit enrichment, false information in declarations, etc.
