Ukraine’s State Enforcement Service has forcibly collected a fine of 432,350 UAH from LLC «Bookmaker Company ‘FAVBET'» for failing to comply with regulatory demands from PlayCity.

The financial penalty follows an unscheduled inspection conducted by PlayCity officials. Regulators determined that the gambling operator failed to address compliance issues originally identified during a routine audit in January 2026. Consequently, the regulatory body issued the financial penalty on March 30, 2026.
After Favbet failed to pay the penalty voluntarily, the matter was handed over to state enforcement officers, who successfully collected the full amount for the state budget.
«The company failed to comply with the regulatory order issued following the routine audit, prompting the application of financial and administrative sanctions.»
Industry regulator PlayCity continues to conduct both routine and unscheduled checks on licensed operators to ensure strict compliance with Ukrainian gambling laws. Market analysts emphasize that rigorous oversight and enforced penalties are crucial for maintaining transparency within the gambling industry and protecting players’ rights.
As of publication, representatives for Favbet have not issued an official comment regarding the forced collection.
