  3. Identity of Backers Behind MP Mykola Tyshchenko’s 10 Million Hryvnia Bail Revealed

A total bail of 10 million hryvnias for Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mykola Tyshchenko has been covered by two external backers and the politician himself. The largest portion—5 million hryvnias—was paid by a Dnipro-based company that officially reported zero revenue and financial losses over the past two years. Another 4.35 million hryvnias was contributed by a Kyiv businessman with a background in managing state-owned enterprises, while Tyshchenko personally paid the remaining 650,000 hryvnias.

The 5 million hryvnia payment on behalf of the MP came from LLC «Vostoktranslogistyka.» According to financial statements, the company reported zero revenue throughout 2024 and 2025. By the end of 2025, the firm recorded a net loss of 71.6 thousand hryvnias and listed only one official employee. Concurrently, its balance sheet showed over 64 million hryvnias in assets and an almost identical amount in liabilities.

Registered in Dnipro in 2014, the company’s primary business activity is the rental of machinery and equipment. Dmytro Perederiy currently serves as the owner and director of LLC «Vostoktranslogistyka,» having consolidated the company’s assets at the end of 2025.

Prior to the management change, the company operated under the name «Haz-Ekosystema» and was owned by the Cyprus-registered Ferama Logistic Ltd. The long-term ultimate beneficial owner was Pavlo Zhytskyi, who was convicted in 2016 for his involvement in the high-profile «gas case» involving former MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko.

Under a plea bargain with prosecutors, Zhytskyi admitted to managing a company utilized to sell state-owned gas through fraudulent auctions at artificially lowered prices.

At the time, the court sentenced him to five years in prison, suspended with a three-year probation period. Furthermore, LLC «Vostoktranslogistyka» is currently listed in the state registry of debtors, with three active enforcement proceedings initiated by the tax service to recover funds owed to the state budget.

The other significant portion of Mykola Tyshchenko’s bail—4.35 million hryvnias—was paid by Kyiv businessman Kostiantyn Burkovskyi. Registered as a sole proprietor in the legal sector, Burkovskyi holds stakes in three companies: LLC «Lampohaz-Ukraina,» LLC «Ukraine-Investment Group,» and LLC «Ukrpromkhimhrumm.» The nominal value of his business assets exceeds 14 million hryvnias.

Burkovskyi also has a history in the public sector. He remains listed as the head of the liquidated state association «Ternopilspyrt,» and in 2015, he was among the final four candidates for the position of director at the state-owned enterprise «Ukrspyrt.» In 2019, the businessman ran for the Verkhovna Rada as an independent candidate but was not elected, and in 2020, he applied for the directorship of the state enterprise «Enerhiya Pryrody.»

At this time, the exact nature of the relationship between MP Mykola Tyshchenko and the individuals who provided his bail remains undisclosed.
