A senior investigator for high-profile cases at the Lviv Regional Police, Oleh Dzikovskyi, has filed his annual asset declaration, disclosing new real estate and a vehicle registered under his wife’s name, Sofiia. However, the police officer’s wife refused to provide data on the purchase price of an apartment measuring nearly 60 square meters in a Lviv suburb. This information came to light following an analysis of the official document in the Unified State Register of Declarations.
According to the published data, Sofiia Dzikovska became the owner of a 59.6 $m^2$ apartment and a 5.3 $m^2$ non-residential space in the village of Lysynychi (Lviv territorial community) in August 2022, where the couple currently resides. However, the relevant section of the declaration states that the family member failed to provide the asset disclosure subject with information regarding the financial value of these properties.
Additionally, in June 2025, the law enforcement officer’s wife acquired a 2014 BMW X5. Its declared value is listed at 455,000 UAH. The senior investigator noted that he has the right to periodic use of this premium crossover SUV.
The family’s financial income for the reporting period consisted of the police officer’s official salary and earnings from his wife’s business operations:
Oleh Dzikovskyi: Received 524,600 UAH in salary from his primary workplace, alongside 1,000 UAH via the «National Cashback» state program.
Sofiia Dzikovska: Declared 818,000 UAH in income from entrepreneurial activities and an additional 510,000 UAH from the sale of movable property.
The couple also holds substantial amounts of cash assets. Specifically, the senior investigator holds $19,900 USD in cash, while his wife stores $29,400 USD and 324,000 UAH in cash.
Spouses of public officials withholding property values and purchasing premium vehicles often trigger strict scrutiny from anti-corruption watchdogs. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAPC) may initiate a full lifestyle audit of this asset declaration based on several key factors.
A family member’s refusal to provide information on real estate value constitutes a direct violation of full disclosure requirements. The NAPC has the legal authority to demand this data and independently verify the market value of the property at the time of purchase in 2022.
Furthermore, regulatory bodies may require a detailed verification of the legal origins of the family’s substantial foreign currency cash reserves. The NAPC is also expected to examine the true ownership dynamics regarding the BMW X5, which is officially registered to the wife but remains in the regular custody and use of the high-ranking police official.
