The newly appointed director of the state-owned enterprise «Ukroboronservis,» Yevhen Hvozdiarov, has declared over 5 million UAH in salary alongside substantial assets in Ukraine and abroad owned by himself and his spouse, Nataliia Mysak. The data appeared in the official asset registry following a recent disclosure update. According to the published report, the head of the strategic defense enterprise currently commands one of the highest official salaries among executives in the state-owned defense industry.
According to the filed asset declaration, Yevhen Hvozdiarov owns several real estate properties in Kyiv. His personal portfolio includes two apartments measuring 117.4 sq. m and 108.4 sq. m, acquired in 2004 and 1998 respectively, a garage, and another 50.5 sq. m apartment held under joint ownership.
A significant portion of the family’s assets is registered under the name of the official’s wife, Nataliia Mysak. Throughout 2023 and 2024, she expanded her property holdings substantially, acquiring:
A residential house (251.5 sq. m) and a 0.26-hectare land plot in October 2023;
A residential house (166.8 sq. m) and a 0.26-hectare land plot in February 2024;
An apartment (42.7 sq. m) in Kyiv, purchased back in 2008.
Furthermore, the director’s spouse owns a 53.1 sq. m apartment in Spain, which was purchased in 2022. The exact purchase price of the foreign property was not disclosed in the official filing.
The family has three vehicles at their disposal. The director of Ukroboronservis drives a 2007 Nissan X-Trail. Meanwhile, his wife owns two newer models: a 2022 Hyundai Kona and a 2023 Toyota C-HR Hybrid. While the estimated market value of these models ranges between $45,000 and $55,000 on the secondary market, the official document leaves the purchase price section for the vehicles blank.
In terms of financial reserves, Yevhen Hvozdiarov declared $20,000 in cash. He holds over 130,000 UAH across various Ukrainian banking institutions (PrivatBank, OTP Bank, Universal Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank) and roughly €44,500 in the Spanish bank Santander. His wife keeps approximately €26,000 with Santander, over 140,000 UAH in Ukrainian banks, and an undisclosed amount of cash in Euros.
Prior to his appointment to the state defense enterprise, Yevhen Hvozdiarov worked extensively in the construction sector. Open-source data also indicates that the official maintains ties to the private defense industry, specifically with LLC «Stream Techno.» The company is widely known as the manufacturer of the «Vampire» unmanned aerial vehicles, which are supplied under Ministry of Defense contracts to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
