Polina Lysenko, former Deputy Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), has joined the private company «Strym Techno» following her resignation from the law enforcement agency. The enterprise, owned by businessman Oleksandr Konotopskyi, is one of the largest contracted suppliers of drones to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to her exit disclosure filed on June 15, Lysenko officially transitioned into the private sector after serving as the agency’s primary liaison for international affairs, widely regarded as NABU’s key lobbyist in the United States.
Lysenko’s move to the private sector comes amid broader expansion by the defense contractor, which has consistently secured significant state procurement contracts. Observers note a trend of private military suppliers bringing on board former senior officials with extensive high-level state and anti-corruption experience.
Financial records reveal that during her final six months at NABU in 2026, Lysenko earned 1.87 million UAH in salary. Her husband, Denys Lysenko, who currently serves in the Office of the Prosecutor General, declared an income of 716,000 UAH for the same period. The couple’s joint cash savings stand at $71,000 and €4,000.
«The family holds rights to use a 99.9 sq. m apartment in Kyiv, as well as a 205.8 sq. m country house in Zazymia, Kyiv region, and an Acura MDX vehicle—all officially registered under close relatives,» according to excerpts from the National Asset Declaration Register.
This transition is part of a series of recent leadership shifts connected to «Strym Techno.» In autumn 2025, Yevhen Hvozdarov, the former director of «Strym Techno,» was appointed head of the state-owned enterprise «Ukroboronservis.»
Before her tenure in public administration and executive leadership at NABU, Lysenko built her career in the corporate sector, including several years in senior management at the travel company TPG, prior to entering public service.
