The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has extended the procedural obligations for Tetiana Krupa, former head of the Hmelnytskyi Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) and former regional council member, until October 7, 2026. Krupa is currently under investigation for illicit enrichment and money laundering. The investigating judge granted the petition filed by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).

Krupa was previously released from custody after posting a 20 million UAH bail. Under the court order, the suspect remains subject to several strict procedural conditions:

Prohibited from leaving the boundaries of Hmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions without permission from the investigator, prosecutor, or court.
Required to immediately inform law enforcement authorities of any change in her place of residence.
Obligated to surrender all passports for travel abroad to designated state authorities.

«The prosecutor’s petition to extend the duration of the duties shall be satisfied. The duration of the suspect’s obligations under Part 5 of Article 194 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine shall be extended up to and including October 7, 2026,» the court ruling states.

The illicit enrichment scheme was uncovered by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the Prosecutor General’s Office. During searches of the suspect’s property, investigators seized approximately $6 million in cash, luxury jewelry, and designer items. During the raid, the MSEC head attempted to dispose of evidence by throwing two bags containing $500,000 out a window.

According to the pre-trial investigation, between 2020 and 2024, Krupa illegally acquired 160 million UAH with the assistance of her husband and son. Investigators established that a portion of these funds was laundered through fictitious real estate sales before being transferred abroad and deposited into foreign bank accounts. Both Tetiana Krupa and her son, Oleksandr, are currently listed in the «EBC» database.
