Former Vice Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna has been served a notice of suspicion for illicit enrichment exceeding 13.9 million UAH and for submitting false information on her official asset declaration. According to law enforcement, the former official registered luxury real estate and a premium vehicle under the names of relatives and acquaintances, while her actual expenses significantly exceeded her official income. A court has set a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 6 million UAH.

Investigators revealed that the former government official effectively owned two apartments in Kyiv’s «Faina Town» residential complex valued at nearly 11 million UAH, which were formally registered to her friend. Additionally, the official utilized several other undeclared assets registered to her inner circle:
An apartment in the «Lvivska Ploshcha» business-class complex (registered to her mother);
A parking spot and several non-residential premises in the same complex (registered to her father);
A Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d vehicle (registered to a subordinate).
The suspect omitted all information regarding the use of these assets from her official financial disclosures.
Law enforcement also documented negotiations regarding the purchase of a mansion near Kyiv valued at approximately $550,000. Under the terms of the planned transaction, $250,000 was to be paid in cash, with the remaining balance covered by transferring ownership of the two aforementioned «Faina Town» apartments to the seller. The deal was ultimately called off by the former official, likely due to her appointment to a diplomatic post abroad.
An analysis of the suspect’s financial records revealed a stark mismatch between her lifestyle and verified earnings. Between early 2024 and mid-2025, her official income totaled approximately 3.7 million UAH. However, expenditures from her bank accounts alone reached roughly 4.2 million UAH over the same period, pointing to substantial unjustified assets even excluding the luxury property acquisitions. The pre-trial investigation remains ongoing.
