Anton Borysenko, the acting head of Vinnytsia Customs, relies on luxury real estate and premium vehicles registered under the names of his wife’s close relatives and business partners. The findings emerged from a thorough analysis of the official’s asset declarations and state property registers.
Despite holding senior leadership roles in Ukraine’s customs services for nearly three years, Borysenko officially owns no personal vehicles and no high-end property.
According to public filings, Borysenko’s official annual income rose over a decade from 60,600 UAH in 2015 to 1.1 million UAH (approximately $25,000 USD) in 2025. His only declared real estate assets consist of two heavily mortgaged apartments in Kharkiv purchased through a youth housing assistance program, with active loan payments extending into late 2025.
However, the lifestyle enjoyed by the customs official’s immediate family presents a stark contrast to these declarations.
Over the years, Borysenko’s family regularly utilized luxury vehicles registered to his wife’s stepfather, Oleksandr Bilopolskyi—including a 2021 BMW X4 valued at 1.66 million UAH—and a Toyota Highlander owned by his wife’s brother.
Borysenko recently received a traffic violation fine for speeding in Kharkiv while driving a Volkswagen ID.4. The electric vehicle is officially owned by Vartan Minosyan, a direct business partner of Borysenko’s wife.
Financial reports reveal that Bilopolskyi’s primary confectionery business recorded negligible net profits ranging from zero to a few thousand hryvnias per year, raising questions about the funding behind the luxury vehicle fleet.
The customs chief’s mother-in-law, Halyna Kopylova—whose total official income over 25 years amounts to roughly 162,000 UAH—has been constructing a 298-square-meter two-story mansion near Kharkiv since 2016, alongside acquiring an additional secondary home in 2023.
Since late 2025, Borysenko’s wife and children have resided in Sherwood, an exclusive gated community in Uzhhorod. The family occupies a luxury townhouse valued by developers from $334,000 USD, where comparable rentals start at $4,500 USD per month.
The property’s formal owner is Yevhen Danileyko, director of LLC «Sohrada»—a firm in which Borysenko’s wife holds a 20% stake. Despite «Sohrada» operating at a loss or minimal profit until recently, Danileyko spent approximately 19 million UAH in a single year on luxury real estate and new vehicles, including an AUDI S5 and a ZEEKR 007.
