The candidate submitted his electronic declaration shortly after turning 25, raising questions about a potential attempt to secure mobilization exemption through employment in the customs service. Concurrently, the filing reveals significant discrepancies between the family’s official income and their actual wealth.
According to the official submission, the candidate is seeking employment within the Zakarpattia Customs structure. In June 2025, Edgar Peresolyak acquired a 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan, valued at 1.76 million UAH at the time of purchase.
The family also declared substantial amounts of cash assets:
Edgar Peresolyak: €10,000, $5,000, and 250,000 UAH.
His wife (Khrystyna Peresolyak): $30,000, €20,000, and 570,000 UAH.
Additionally, the candidate disclosed a loan of 1.5 million UAH received from his father, Myroslav Peresolyak, who is the brother of Valeriy Peresolyak. An Uzhhorod apartment measuring 76.12 square meters, acquired in 2022, is registered under his wife’s name.

However, investigative findings point to glaring inconsistencies: the candidate’s sole proprietorship (FOP), registered for «retail trade via the internet,» was established only on November 11, 2025. This timeline raises questions regarding the origin of his declared income prior to that date.
According to investigative sources, the candidate is the actual owner of «Crystal Detailing Studio,» a luxury car detailing shop in the village of Onokivtsi, Uzhhorod district, which has been operating since late 2022. This business entity and its associated contact information were not properly disclosed in the candidate’s filing.
The candidate’s wife, Khrystyna Peresolyak, declared an entrepreneurial income of 4 million UAH through a sole proprietorship established in 2021. Open-source data and digital footprints link her business contacts to the organization of shopping tours to the Parndorf outlet in Austria and the delivery of goods from the European Union.
Given the close family ties to Valeriy Peresolyak, who has faced numerous allegations from law enforcement regarding illicit cross-border smuggling schemes, the family’s financial activities have drawn heightened scrutiny. The apparent mismatches between the prospective customs officer’s undeclared business and asset profile warrant an official review by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the Internal Security Department of the State Customs Service.
