Kateryna Marchuk, a member of the Rivne City Council from the «Rivne Razem» (Rivne Together) faction, has published her official asset declaration, drawing public attention with a sharp increase in income. According to the submitted documents, her entrepreneurial activities alone brought in nearly 4.9 million UAH, while the family also purchased a luxury vehicle and invested heavily in their daughter’s education abroad.

The family’s total official cash flow reached approximately 5.65 million UAH over the reporting period. The lion’s share of these funds came from the personal sole proprietorship (FOP) of the council member, who has managed the «Rivne Oselia» real estate agency since 2015 and actively develops this business sector.
The financial performance of her business demonstrates impressive growth compared to previous years:
2019: 37.5 thousand UAH;
2021: 380 thousand UAH;
2022: 254 thousand UAH;
2023: 389 thousand UAH.
Thus, during the reporting period, income from her sole proprietorship multiplied by more than 12 times relative to 2023. Additionally, the council member declared social benefits, pension accruals, and two significant non-monetary gifts from her sister and another relative totaling over 760 thousand UAH.
The council member’s husband, Serhii Marchuk, serves as the director of the municipal communal transport enterprise KATP-1728. His official salary at this position amounted to 710 thousand UAH for the year. Notably, his salary at the same municipal enterprise grew more gradually: in 2021 it was 373 thousand UAH, and in 2023 it reached 512 thousand UAH.
Regarding the family’s financial safety cushion, the couple keeps their cash savings primarily in national currency and US dollars. Specifically, Serhii Marchuk holds 1.95 million UAH and 12,500 USD in cash. He also owns a 20% corporate stake in «Semidian» LLC, which has not been transferred into management. The couple is raising three children: Luka, Karina, and Mark.
The family’s property status also underwent certain changes. Their only residential apartment, measuring 94.5 square meters in Rivne, has been registered under the husband’s name since late 2021, where Marchuk and the children have their official registration and residence.
Among vehicles, Kateryna Marchuk retained a 2016 Jaguar F-Pace crossover purchased in early 2022 for 690 thousand UAH, with her husband holding driving rights. Previously, the family owned other luxury cars (such as Lexus models and an Audi Q7) and rented premium Mercedes-Benz vehicles, but these assets are no longer listed in the new declaration.
A separate notable category of expenses involves investments in their daughter Karina’s education. In May and June, substantial advance payments totaling over 660 thousand UAH were made, alongside a financial obligation to pay 14,750 British pounds sterling for tuition by the end of the year.
Experts note that regular analysis of such politician asset declarations and open financial transparency reports serves as a vital element of public oversight, allowing citizens to effectively monitor changes in the wealth and business assets of local authorities.
