According to prosecutors, the state suffered over 337 million UAH in damages due to unauthorized subsoil use. According to investigators, company management carried out full-scale mineral extraction in the region while hiding behind permits meant only for pilot-commercial development and geological surveying. In total, 37,928 tons of sandstone were unlawfully extracted from the site.
A forensic examination confirmed that the large-scale operation proceeded without a valid special permit for subsoil use, resulting in significant financial damage to the state budget and local ecology.
Although law enforcement agencies traditionally refrain from publicly naming suspects, matching location data, permit conditions, and «Camelot» branding on heavy equipment all point to Production Complex Camelot LLC.
