The Department of Defense Work of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (RSA) has signed a new military equipment supply contract with a local council member. The agency purchased 30 «General Chereshnia AIR» ground stations for a total of 3.9 million UAH. This marks the second procurement of its kind from this specific supplier since the beginning of 2026.

According to official data, the nominal cost per unit under the latest contract stood at 130,000 UAH. This transaction extends the RSA’s cooperation with the supplier, which began earlier this winter.
The first report regarding the acquisition of these Ukrainian-made FPV interceptor drones was published by the buyer in mid-February 2026. At that time, a single counter-UAV system was priced slightly lower, at 125,000 UAH. A total of 10 «General Chereshnia AIR» units were purchased for regional defense needs during that initial round, amounting to 1.25 million UAH.
The official supplier for both contracts is Mykhailo Prasol, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) and sitting member of the Zaporizhzhia City Council representing the «Volodymyr Buriak Party ‘Yednannia'».
Prasol previously listed LLC «Center for Unmanned Systems Research»—the actual developer and manufacturer of the «General Chereshnia AIR» systems—as his primary place of employment. Currently, the official asset declaration of the politician and detailed corporate data regarding the manufacturing company have been removed from public access.
Fact Sheet: Mykhailo Prasol registered his sole proprietorship (FOP) in 2023, listing «63.11 Data processing, hosting and related activities» as his primary business sector. The contracts with the Zaporizhzhia RSA Department of Defense Work mark his first experience receiving public funds as an independent entrepreneur.
Beyond his political and business activities, Mykhailo Prasol is a co-founder of several non-governmental organizations that reveal ties to other former officials. Specifically, he co-founded the NGO «Spilnozakhyst Human Rights Association» and the NGO «Bureau for Countering Corruption.»
His partner in these organizations is Yaroslav Hryshyn, a former council member and the founder of the aforementioned LLC «Center for Unmanned Systems Research.» Furthermore, Prasol is listed among the founders of the NGO «Victim Protection Fund — For Truth,» alongside Yaroslav Hryshyn’s brother, local attorney Stanislav Hryshyn.
Journalists continue to monitor public procurement in Zaporizhzhia Oblast to ensure transparency in the allocation of the regional defense budget.
